This is a summary of the weekly notice of operations for the Gwynt y Môr Wind Farm issued on 11th May 2012 to harbour masters and sea users . This notice describes recent operations, work planned for the next 7 days, and provides a list of vessels operating on the site with their contact details.
Work carried out over past 7 days
The following work has been carried out in the past week:
- Freja has been carrying out survey work on the export cable route (see our earlier update here).
- Union Boxer towing barge UR 99 and carrying the OSP East Jacket arrived on site on 7th May 2012.
- Penrhos Bay has been used as a CTV / Stand by vessel, running out of Conwy Marina. She will stand by during jacket installation duties (see the Notice to Mariners 10 here).
- Stanislav Yudin commenced work on on the installation of the Sub Station East on the 8th May 2012.
- Anglian Monarch has been providing support for Stanislav Yudin.
- Anglian Earl has been providing support for Stanislav Yudin.
- Union Beaver has completed the work of laying mattresses & carrrying out Diving Operations at various locations alongside workbarge MPR2 who has been assisting with anchors (see earlier update here).
Work planned for next 7 days
The work planned for the next 7 days on the site is:
- Freja will be carrying out survey work on the export cable route (see earlier update here).
- Penhros Bay will be utilised as Crew Transfer / Stand by vessel, running out of Conwy Marina. To stand by during Jacket installation duties.
- Stanislav Yudin will continue installation work (see our previous notice here).
- Anglian Monarch and Anglian Earl will continue to provide support to Stanislav Yudin.
- Guard vessel Choice is expected to arrive on site on the 15th May 2012 and commence guard vessel duties in-field.

The planned port arrivals over the next 7 days are:-
- Cammel Laird Birkenhead/Port of Liverpool.
MV Bente arrived on 8th May 2012 delivering transition pieces and monopiles. - Mostyn.
