Mariners are advised that survey operations are due to be carried out off the North Wales coast in the area between Rhyl and the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm during April 2022.  A Notice to Mariners has been issued, which is summarised below and can be downloaded here.

Survey operations are due to start on the 15th April 2022 and to last for 7 days, weather  and sea conditions permitting.

Survey work

Hydrographic Survey work is due to be conducted by the survey vessel Titan Endeavour between the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Windfarm and the North Wales coast along part of the windfarm export cable route.  This work is being carried out in preparation for export cable repair work that is due to be carried out later this year. A map and the coordinates of the survey area is provided in the Notice to Mariners which can be downloaded here.  A map of the windfarm and export cable route is available from the Kingfisher website here.
