Mariners are advised that the jack up vessel MPI Resolution will be carrying out maintenance operations within the Rhyl Flats Offshore Wind Farm off the North Wales coast during late November to early December 2025.

Maintenance operations
The jack up vessel MPI Resolution is due to be carrying out heavy lifting operations at one wind turbine in the Rhyl Flats Offshore Wind Farm. The location and coordinates are given below:-
- Wind turbine RF24: 53° 22.367’N 003° 39.483’W
Work is expected to start on the 29th of November 2025 and to end by the 10th of December 2025, subject to weather and sea conditions.
These works are being carried out under Marine Licence CML1466.
Vessel details
MPI Resolution is a 6-legged jack up vessel measuring 130m in length by 38m in width, with a blue hull and white superstructure. The vessel details and a link to its present location are given below:-

When at the specified location the vessel will be restricted in the ability to manoeuvre and will exhibit signals in accordance with the UK Standard Marking Schedule for Offshore Installations.
Other vessels are asked to observe a 500m exclusion zone at all times that MPI Resolution is manoeuvering into position and when it is attached or anchored next to the wind turbine, and also to ensure that the vessel can safely position itself without negative interactions with sea users or their equipment.
The vessel will monitor VHF Channel 16 at all times.
