Gwynt y Môr: Rope Access Operations, April 2021

This is an update to Mariners about that rope access work and blade maintenance is due to be carried out throughout the Gwynt y Môr Windfarm in April 2021.  Details of this work is provided in a Notice to Mariners that can be downloaded here and which is summarised below

Rope Access Operations

Rope access operations and blade maintenance is due to start on April 3rd, with the vessel Commodore P.  From April 6th the vessel Coastal Knight will also be involved in these operations.

The vessels will announce safety exclusion zones around specific turbines on VHF Channel 16 to allow this work to be carried out safely.

The vessels will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 16 and GyM Digipool Channel 3 throughout these operations.
