Mariners are advised that geophysical survey operations are due to be carried out in and around the Gwynt y Môr Offshore windfarm during April 2017. A Notice to Mariners has been issued, which is summarised below and can be downloaded here.
The vessel Proteus of Liverpool is due to carry out a survey throughout the windfarm area, starting on 21st April 2017. The vessel details, including a link to its present location, are:-
- Proteus of Liverpool: survey vessel | Call sign 2HBL7
During the course of these operations the Proteus of Liverpool may be restricted in her ability to manoeuvre. The vessel will maintain a listening watch on VHF channel 16.
The exact timing of the survey may be affected by the prevailing weather and sea conditions.
