A Notice to Mariners has been issued about a new vessel arriving to work at Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm. The notice is summarised below and can be downloaded here.
From the 10th June 2014 until further notice the cable maintenance vessel Ndurance will be commencing operations at the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Windfarm site. The vessel’s operations will centre on the location 53°26.7’N 03°33.6’W, which is in the eastern part of the windfarm site. Other vessels are advised to observe a 500m safety zone around the Ndurance.

Ndurance will monitor private radio channels and VHF Channel 16 and DIGIpool 1 at all times.
