Gwynt y Môr: Arrival of Accommodation Vessel “Wind Solution”

On June 5th 2013 the accommodation vessel Wind Solution is due to arrive in the vicinity of the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm.  The vessel will be anchored inshore of the wind farm.  Further information is provided in the Notice to Mariners that can be downloaded here, and is summarised below.

Wind Solution will provide accommodation for staff working on the wind farm.  There will be a high volume of Crew Transfer Vessel movements in the vicinity of Wind Solution when crew and personnel transfers are underway.  Wind Solution will be anchored at location 53°25.428’N, 03°32.400’W, which is approximately 1.4km SSE of the GyM SE buoy.  The location of the anchorage for the Wind Solution is shown in a map here.

All vessels operating in the area are requested to give this ship a berth of 500m.  Wind Solution will monitor VHF Channel 16 at all times.
