Gwynt y Môr: Offshore Platform Commissioning

The jack-up vessel JB-114 is due to be assisting with commissioning work on the Offshore Platforms in the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Windfarm, starting on 22nd April 2013.

A notice about these operations can be downloaded here and is summarised below.

JB-114 is due to arrive near the OSP East platform on 22nd April and will remain there for approximately 4 weeks.  The JB-114 will then either relocate to the OSP West platform or remain on site as an installation drilling vessel.

When on location the JB-114 will require a 500m exclusion zone at all times.  Vessels are also requested to give appropriate clearance when JB-114 is being towed to and from locations in the windfarm area.

The vessel will monitor VHF Channel 16 at all times.
