Gwynt y Môr: Removal of FLIDAR buoy, April 2015

Mariners are advised that over the Easter weekend (4th-5th April 2015) the vessel Stril Explorer is due to arrive at the Gwynt y Môr windfarm to remove the 3 FLIDAR moorings on the seabed.  The operations will be conducted during daylight and should take no longer than a few hours.

A notice about these moorings and the buoys marking their location was issued in December 2014 and can be downloaded here.

Information about the vessel involved in this operation, including the call sign and a link to the vessel details on Marine Traffic is given below.

All vessel traffic is asked to keep at least 500m clear of the vessel when it is engaged in operations.  The vessel can be contacted on VHF Channel 16 at all times.
