SeaGen Update: Current Meter Deployment

Stainless steel frames containing scientific equipment will be deployed at five locations between Anglesey and the Skerries over the next few days (from today, 28th February to Sunday 4th March).

The vessel Seekat C will be installing these frames, and other vessel are requested to maintain an appropriate and safe distance from her, and to pass slowly.

The frames will be ballasted so that they don’t move, and will stand 0.5m above the seabed.  They will not be marked by surface buoys.  They frames will remain in place for 30 days, after which they will be recovered.
